A clear commitment to training and production in Germany

febi bilstein continues investing in the development of in-house production facilities and training at its headquarters in Ennepetal.

The broadly based training initiative geared towards commercial / technical apprenticeships has been strengthened by the purchase of a modern CNC universal milling machine. febi has invested a total of 130,000€ in its DMU 50 machining centre. This machine with 16 workstations has been purchased specifically for training purposes and broadens the machine count in the training workshop. Under instruction from their training supervisor the trainees produce devices for process machinery and samples.

The commercial / technical trainees’ early contact with cutting-edge CNC machinery ensures a high standard of professional training at febi. Currently, six young men are undergoing a technical apprenticeship. In August this year four more trainees will be starting their apprenticeships at febi.

febi’s investment, in the long term, will satisfy the increasing demand for well-trained, skilled staff. The increase in number of machines thereby constitutes a clear commitment to in-house training and the manufacture of precision parts “made in Germany”.
